Glass splinter protection
Glass break without splinter? EPOSINT glass splinter protective coatings ensure this. From the filigree bottle to the reactor vessel: A resistant plastic coat protects against glass splinters in the event of a glass break. If the vessel is externally damaged, the coating keeps the glass intact and prevents or slows down the leakage of the medium contained within.
Glass splinter protective coatings can be adapted to your requirements. Benefits include splinter protection, chemical resistant, UV-resistance, may be transparent or colored and may be sterilized in an autoclave. As a rule, the coatings are temperature-resistant up to 130 °C. By slight modification we can also offer coating variants for temperatures from - 180 °C to + 260 °C. The coatings can also be designed to be electrically conductive.
